I’m sure you’ve all caught on to the fact that I love wedding photos. A photographer, in my opinion, is the most important part of your wedding. The day will pass but you’ll have to look at the images for the rest of your life! Having a good, scratch that, a fantastic photographer can make a world of difference. My biggest caution to brides looking for a photographer is to make sure you click with them on a personal level. You want to feel comfortable and at ease with them. The best way to do this is to have them do your engagement session. If that goes well and you’re happy with their attitude and the image quality I’d say it’s a go. If you’re not planning on having an engagement session, there are a ton of questions that need to be asked and you have to make sure they understand your specific needs.

Bringing inspiration for the style of photography you want at your wedding can also be helpful. If you know what you’re looking for, you can make sure that the photographer fits your aesthetic! Years from the wedding day when you’re looking back, its photos like these that can make all of the feelings of that day return.
