As an anglophile, I take tea seriously. Okay, I don’t drink tea very often, but I take tea cups, finger sandwiches, jam, and tea cakes very, very seriously. I also take other people drinking tea seriously. So much so that I have already insisted to my lovely Mother that my bridal shower is to be a traditional English tea. Fascinators, Royal Dalton china, scones, crumpets, awesome. This is a seriously tall order considering tea time in the English countryside is pretty unforgettable and hard to duplicate. Especially when it’s nestled on a small street overlooking a castle.
I get really happy just thinking about it. Here’s a glimpse into my dream tea party.
